This is the most common game format for paintball.

 

Each team starts at their own flag station with a flag. They cannot touch or move their flag.

 

To win the game, they must go to the other teams flag station, take their flag and bring it back to their own flag station to win.

 

Flag stations can be as simple as a rope hung between two trees or as elaborate as a special stand in a fortress.

 

Game times vary from just a couple minutes to hours in a scenario game.
